- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks - Take customer orders and process payments using a cash register - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including the service area, seating area, and restrooms - Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation - Assist with food preparation, such as making sandwiches or pastries - Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or complaints - Upsell additional products or menu items to customers Skills:
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating customer orders - Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Previous experience in the food industry or retail is a plus Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
